Where is the Inn Located?
We are located at 750 Farroll Road, Suite C in Grover Beach, CA. If you are visiting any of the local areas around Pismo Beach, Arroyo Grande, Shell Beach, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Cayucos, Cambria, Atascadero, Paso Robles, Santa Maria, Lompoc and beyond…you won't be far, so come join us!
Do you have more than one room?
We typically have two rooms except during periods of transition/building new rooms. Currently we have our newest "Alice Suite" and our largest experience which is open now, "Room 1985" loaded with tons of 1980's nostalgia and high energy fun!
Is it Scary?
Your first time in the escape room, you can expect to be nervous, it's the unknown! All of our rooms are family friendly and good for ages 9-90. Future rooms, such as Halloween themes may include some scary elements…we'll be sure to let guests know when the theme is a scary one!
Will we actually be locked in?
Yes and no. Your entrance door is locked at the start of your game and you will have an allotted amount of time to try and escape on your own. If you have not escaped by the end of your show time…we MAY let you out (insert evil laugh). But not to worry, there is always a game master that will be monitoring your session and will open the door if you need to be let out. There is also an emergency exit that remains unlocked for the entire game.
How much is it, I'm ready to have fun!?
It's $35 a person. We do have discounts for nurses, teachers, first responders, veterans and military discounts so make sure to call about those!
Is it recommended for children?
We LOVE kids here! As long as there are enough INVOLVED adults in the room to help with some of the solving and keeping an eye out for damages, kids even as young as 5 or 6 have tons of fun searching and helping with the fun! We don't recommend large groups of young children with only one adult.
Is It Difficult?
Yes, most groups will find our rooms challenging! But, that's what makes it fun. If it was easy, everyone would get out, and most guests would get out very early. We know you work hard for your money, and we want you to get the most for it. We've designed the games so that it will take most groups close to 60 minutes or more to complete (with no additional clues).
Work hard, work together, and work smart and you may be one of the groups to earn an escape in under 60 minutes. Groups DO escape, will yours? Of course, it's YOUR game, we just want you to have fun. So if you would like additional clues or help in getting out faster, we're happy to help you.
For bragging rights though, do it in under 60 minutes with no additional clues!
If I have already been to one of the rooms, can I return to play again?
Yes, absolutely, we love having return guests. Though we do recommend waiting for new rooms, or new versions of the room. Once you have played a version of the room, the following visit will be much easier and you will already know all the surprises coming your way.
Will there be other people in the room during?
No, all of our bookings are private meaning if you book for 4 people or 13...you are reserving the time slot for just you and your group. When you reserve a room we want you to be able to enjoy with just you and your friends!
What if I don't have an exact headcount?
No problem! We recommend just booking for the minimum people you know can come for sure and if there are extra party members that come the day of you can pay for them right at the front desk when you arrive. Just be mindful you don't go over the maximum for each room. Currently 14 for "Room 1985" and 9 for the "Alice Suite". We accept all major cards, cash, PayPal and Venmo on site. *You must book for a minimum of 4 to hold the room.
